Mika Tivadar, one of the popular clubs of Kazinczy street presents varied musical events in the name of its cultural mission. A weekly music series called Jazzaj has been among these for the past two years, featuring  young, creative artists of different musical genres from pop to extreme electronics. These musicians – Hungarian and international alike – are put together randomly to prove their talent by playing free, improvised music. Creativity and intensity has no limits whatsoever at these concerts and workshops!

As fall has fell the new season begins, so as Jazzaj on every Wednesday night. The season opening will be an irregular event, lasting for two days and featuring mainly foreign artists: I Belong to the Band (GB), Bernadette Zeilinger (AT), NUTIMBRE (IT) and Hock Ernő (H).

There’s no way to tell what to expect at Jazzaj, except for pure delight! Anything can be played from freestyle jazz or experimental pop to improvised electro-acoustic music – or any other improvisational style and genre. So you should just turn up this wednesday – or any other wednesday for that matter – and see where the creativity and the power of music can take you, out there in the Budapest nightlife.
