The rink is outdoors, and is right next to a trolley stop, and is a favorite hangout of high schoolers and teenagers from the surrounding area.

The rink is open from 9 am- 2 pm, and then opens back up from 3 pm- 9pm and the tickets are only valid for one of these two sessions. The rink is beautifully lit in the evening, and is home to events, such as the ice disco every Friday, and to shows for kids like the 8th of December St Nicholas day ice skating show.
